Andover is in the English county of Hampshire (Hants). It is situated on the River Anton in South East England with a population of about 52,000. This town was first mention in history in 950 when King Edred is recorded as having built a royal hunting lodge there. RAF Andover was opened on Andover Airfield,to the south of town. Later the first British military helicopter unit, helicopter training school was open in 1945 at RAF Andover. The town showed its growth and received its first cango bus network in 2002. It had a brand new radio station in May 2008 which was called as Andover Sound.
